At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

Based in the busy West End of London, we have a lively and vibrant working atmosphere, with quick and easy transport links to all our sites. Our size and resources enable us to offer a range of attractive benefits as well as unparalleled education and development opportunities for staff at all levels. This includes an extensive portfolio of academic and clinical courses and programmes ranging from ongoing personal development through to clinical excellence and leadership skills. UCLH prides itself on its investment in staff both in terms of developing career skills but also its commitment to staff health and wellbeing.

An exciting opportunity has recently been created to join the new UCLH Charity Fundraising Team, as a dedicated fundraiser for the EGA (Elizabeth Garrett Anderson) maternity wing. The fundraiser would be raising vital funds through community fundraising for the maternity department at UCLH and other departments at UCLH.

The newly form UCLH Charity fundraising team has been formed to make a difference to all patients at UCLH by investing in projects that add value ‘above and beyond’ standard NHS provision. We support research and development, transform services and facilities, and provide staff development and support across the Trust. This is an exciting time to join a developing team to help shape fundraising at UCLH. We are at the start of a journey which will involve developing a new fundraising strategy and fundraising function, developing our own fundraising capability and re-scoping our grants programmes.

The role will give you the chance to work in collaboration with a team of fundraisers to build and develop a challenge and events programme and engage with supporters, patients and staff within the EGA area.

A full induction and development plan will be offered as part of your role to ensure that you are fully integrated and confident in your new role.
