Principal Clinical Technologist

Due to the reorganisation and expansion of clinical services in UCLH, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a new post of Principal Clinical Technologist to lead and manage the technical staff in the MEMS workshops across the Trust

You should already be a very experienced senior medical technologist on a wide range of medical and dental equipment in a variety of clinical areas.

You are expected to work independently, providing excellent support, setting very high standards, be safety conscious and always ensure services are prioritised and provided to enhance and improve patient care. You are comfortable working in a team, and have experience of supervision of other staff. You will motivate and manage the team and participate in hands-on work. You will develop work procedures and instructions, and keep thorough records of all maintenance actions.

You should be comfortable working in a high pressure environment with many pressing priorities.
