Data Manager/Clinical Trial Coordinator

12 months Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

UCLH is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its Cancer Clinical Trials Unit as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. The role is integral to the provision of a large scale cancer early detection study being delivered in partnership with our academic partner, UCL and a US based healthcare company.

The early diagnosis of cancer is a key priority for UCLH. The aim of the study is to detect cancer early when it can be treated, in order to improve the survival and treatment opportunities for patients. The Data Manager/Clinical Trial Coordinator is an integral role to the delivery of the study for participants and requires excellent communication and organisational skills. The role will also supervise a team of research administrators and work with other teams across the Trust to ensure the effective delivery of the study.

The role requires flexibility to support the ongoing management of the study including requirement to manage all aspects of the study administration. Experience of working in clinical trials and within an NHS environment would be an advantage.

The role will primarily be based at the head office with an expectation to travel and work across the four sites the study will be delivered from in north and east London when required. The position is offered fixed term for 12 months Maternity Cover.

Please note this role’s fixed term contract is for the purpose of covering maternity leave and therefore the end date is subject to change in line with this.
