We have an exciting Business Administration Apprentice opportunity at UCLH.  We are looking for two apprentices to join the Workforce Intelligence Team within the Workforce Directorate.

These roles will report to the Workforce Services Lead within Workforce Intelligence to provide important assistance and administrative support to some key initiatives for the department. These include:

  • Office based administration
  • Customer services
  • Help desk management
  • Training of staff including managers
  • Developing communications including workforce information pages on intranet
  • Undertaking pre-employment checks

There is an opportunity within the honorary contracts team – which will be more involved in receiving request forms for people joining UCLH through an honorary contract, and then supporting the candidate through the pre-employment journey.

A second opportunity is within the ESR team, which is more involved in supporting managers and employees with using ESR and smartcards via phone, email and face-to-face help.

We are looking for applicants who are motivated, have good communication skills and have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract whereby you will be working towards an apprenticeship qualification in Business and Administration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
