Billing System Manager - Private Healthcare: Band 7

Reporting to the Business Administration Manager for Private Healthcare, the Billing System Manager will be responsible for manage and maintain the private patient billing system.  The post holder will be able to work autonomously and efficiently in order to provide a premium service to colleagues and external partners.

The Trust has recently installed a new billing system, Compucare, so this is a unique opportunity to build and support the system from scratch.  In addition, the Trust is due to transition to electronic invoicing through EDI and the successful candidate will have a key role in delivering this large project.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate you have significant experience in managing and maintaining an IT system, and previous experience of Compucare will be an advantage.  The post holder will work closely with operational management to create and run reports – both ad hoc and scheduled – to support the effective running of private healthcare services at UCLH.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
