An opportunity has arisen to join a team of professionals providing technical support across UCLH NHS FT. This post is required to identify, coordinate and locate medical and dental equipment required for servicing / repair, and to participate in carrying out routine servicing of a range of medical and dental devices. The post is a result of a drive to improve our maintenance run rate to ensure that we carry out the maintenance programme of medical and dental equipment on time.  

You are an NVQ4 level or higher engineering technologist, and have already worked in a support / service team role in a technical environment. Whilst you may not have worked with medical devices, you will have a sound safety first approach, and a willingness to learn and develop. You aspire to become a medical technologist capable of working independently in a high performing team.  

The Post

The service looks after medical equipment across all UCLH sites including UCH, EGA, UCH at Westmoreland St, EDH, RNTNEH, UCH at GWB and NHNN. You will work with supervision and support from experienced colleagues, providing assistance and support in all areas of the teams work.

Applicant requirements
