An exciting opportunity has arisen within the medicine and care of the elderly therapy team at University College London Hospital. This new role will report to the team lead and provide important assistance and administrative support to the team and the department. This includes:
• Responsibility for providing clinical and administrative support to qualified therapy staff.
• Ability to show initiative, motivation and good organisational ability. Demonstrating time management and prioritisation skills through working closely with qualified therapy staff and other therapy assistants.
• After appropriate training, the post holder will be required to perform manual handling tasks, develop administrative support, maintain systems within the therapy team and work on service development and quality assurance projects.
We are looking for applicants who are motivated, have good communication skills and have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team. This is an 18 month fixed term contract whereby you will be working towards an apprenticeship qualification in Allied Health profession support.
