UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individual with previous staff management experience to work as part of the Radiology management team in this busy Radiology department.

 

As part of the remit of this role, you will be expected to manage a team of Radiology Patient Services Coordinators at UCH. You will need to develop working knowledge of all the pathways and workflows that underpin the service delivery in the areas that you cover. Experience in handling urgent escalation is essential as is the ability to work under pressure in a calm and collaborative manner. You will also need to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder and engage with them to improve services and help the department achieve various national targets.
