At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.

We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

Based in London within UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, The National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC) was established in 2002 to provide travel health advice and to help set standards in travel medicine with the goal of “Protecting the Health of British Travellers”.

NaTHNaC works in partnership with Public Health England, UCLH and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and has achieved a world-class reputation.

We require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work on the day to day administrative duties of NaTHNaC and its Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre programme for England Wales and Northern Ireland for a FT FTC.

The postholder will work with a range of clinical, administrative, and scientific staff as well as external contractors to ensure the timely provision of services. It will be based at 250 Euston Road.

NaTHNaC is responsible for administering Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres (YFVC) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to ensure the highest standards of practice and compliance with the International Health Regulations 2005. A key part of the role is to oversee the day to day operations of this programme and the national training programme.

Successful candidates will have experience of working on administrative services, and working in partnership with a range of organisations and professions. Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential. Travel Health knowledge is also desirable.

We offer our permanent staff an interest free season ticket loan for travel, a subsidised social club including gym, swimming pool and classes, a library for staff to use, free independent and confidential support for all staff, large retail discounts, car leasing scheme and on-site accommodation to name a few.

The interview date will be Friday 23rd February 2018
