Acute Medicine Clinical Research Fellow Post (6 posts)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at University College London Hospitals for up to 6 experienced Clinical Research Fellows (ST3+) in the rapidly advancing field of Acute Medicine at one of the world’s most pioneering research institutions. UCLH has made acute and emergency research an organisational priority.

Example a project for which funding and training is already available includes:

  • Real-time identification of sepsis from electronic health records
  • Identifying multi-system vulnerability in acute patients using machine learning
  • Development and evaluation of a digitally-enabled AKI care pathway
  • Biomarkers of acute neurodegeneration in deliriumThe post will be fully supported within a robust management and governance structure, in order to generate academic research in the area of individual interest. The post is offered on a 50:50 clinical: research split.The appointment will be for one year in first instance with an anticipated start date of August 2019.

Previous research experience is not a pre-requisite for the post.
