The paediatric ophthalmology department are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic optometrist to join our team and help us to continue to provide a high quality comprehensive clinical paediatric optometry service. As a member of our team you will provide a paediatric optometry service alongside two orthoptists on alternate Tuesday mornings and with the consultant paediatric ophthalmologist, specialist registrar, speciality doctor and three orthoptists on Tuesday afternoons. Flexible working or job share can be discussed.
Candidates should be a registered optometrist with the GOC, hold the qualification MCOptom, B.Sc. Hons in Optometry or equivalent, and preferably have experience in hospital optometry.
