Colorectal Junior Doctor



Applications are welcome to the post of Trust Junior Doctor in Colorectal Surgery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work and train within our Colorectal Surgery Service within Gastrointestinal Services at UCLH. You will have the opportunity to train in colorectal surgery and colonoscopy and will attend a weekly outpatient clinic.

The successful candidate will be involved in in-patient care and support junior staff and nursing staff on the ward. They will also be proactive in managing emergency surgical patients and operating in emergency theatres supported by the oncall consultant. They will also be a part of the SHO general surgical on call rota 1:14.

The post holder will be expected to participate in professional development activities, clinical governance programmes including audit and teaching of junior staff.
