University College London Hospital has a well-established colorectal surgical and oncology unit comprising a team of the highest calibre and experience. The purpose of the Unit is to provide treatment that is safe and expeditious, patient friendly and evidence-based.

As part of this team we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist. The ideal candidate will be expected to work autonomously and prioritise their caseload; they will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to foster good working relationships.

Candidates will be required to have experience of managing patients with Colorectal cancer ideally in both the surgical and oncology settings. The post holder will undertake assessment of patients using a range of different assessment methods, provide follow-up and symptom control clinics as well as provide telephone / virtual clinics. Part of the role will also include participation in audit, research and teaching both for medical / nursing staff and community groups.
