We are looking to appoint several EHRS Senior Designers / Analysts to the UCLH Pharmacy and Cancer teams. They will support the EHRS management team to co-ordinate issues across a group of modules with inter-related design features.  The specialist posts will require expert application design experience in a complex build environment and a related health professional qualification at a senior level.

The post holders will be responsible for design, configuration and build, and testing of the Pharmacy and Cancer modules, known as Willow and Beacon respectively. They will ensure that issues are dealt with in accordance with UCLH policies, procedures and business operations.  They will work alongside Delivery Managers and their deputies to help identify and implement agreed changes to the system and to deliver the optimisation and development plans for the applications or coordinate complex issues that arise across a number of related applications, acting alongside managers as a primary contact point for application end-users.

Successful candidates must have a high level of communication skills, use a flexible approach and be able to work under pressure. It is crucial they have the ability to analyse the interdependencies between complex clinical systems and pathways and be able to assist teams to communicate and engage regularly with clinicians, specialists and other relevant staff, listening to, developing, documenting and analysing their needs, and help them to agree and deliver clinical best practice standards, future workflows and system optimisation.

Applicants should ideally be certified in Epic Willow Inpatients or Willow Ambulatory. Knowledge or experience of Epic Beacon is desirable. Applicants without Willow qualification will be entered into a training program to ensure they are suitably qualified to configure and manage the Pharmacy and Cancer components of our EHRS.

Interviews will be held in week commencing 5th Aug 2019.
