Apprenticeships & Work Experience Coordinator B5

Internal secondment to Staff Development team for 18 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Staff Development team for an Apprenticeships and Work Experience Coordinator to support the apprenticeships and work experience agenda at our large and complex NHS Trust. This role is being offered as an internal secondment opportunity for a member of Trust staff who has a passion for both developing themselves and supporting the learning of others.

We are looking for someone who has highly-developed administration and coordination skills and is looking to transfer these skills to a new area. You will also have great customer service skills developed in either a patient-facing or back-office environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should demonstrate attention to detail, experience of managing and prioritising your own work, and be able to work as part of a wider team.

This new role entails providing advice and guidance to managers on options around apprenticeships, designing communications and events to promote the availability of apprenticeships and work experience both internally and externally, leading on the coordination and delivery of work experience, and producing regular reports on apprenticeship and work experience activity. You will also act as an ambassador for apprenticeships and work experience both within the Trust and to local schools and colleges.

In return you will get the opportunity to join a busy and vibrant team and support for your own learning and personal development.

Please note: As part of the recruitment process, candidates will undergo a psychometric test, work sample assessment and a competency based interview.
