FY1 Training Programme Director

We are looking to appoint a Foundation Training Programme Director (F1). Until recently, this post was held by Dr Catherine Bond, Foundation Training Programme Director.
This is an exciting opportunity for a UCLH consultant who is interested in education and training and will involve responsibility for the quality of Foundation Programme training for the F1 trainees undertaking UCLH rotations.

The post-holder will also be responsible for liaising with external stakeholders such as North Central Thames Foundation School and the Health Education Team (HET) to ensure compliance with their standards and implement new initiatives as required. There is considerable scope within the role to shape the future of training at UCLH. There is excellent administrative support for this post.
In terms of time within the consultant job plan, it is expected that the post holder will commit 1 PA/SPA to this work. This will be funded by the Medical and Dental Education Service.
