Band 5 Experienced Staff Nurse (Post registration/Gynaecological experience required)

T6 Gynaecology

Women’s Health Division are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate  Staff Nurse with post registration/Gynaecological experience to make our Band 5  nursing team complete.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for caring for Women undergoing all aspects of gynaecological intervention are essential for this role . This is a great opportunity for experienced surgical and gynaecology nurses to work alongside  a well-supported team and to work closely with our Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Unit team.

T6 Gynaecology is an acute 15 bedded inpatient ward which currently operates on a 7 days basis.  You will be working alongside a supportive and committed multi-disciplinary team with  lots of opportunities for you to develop and expand within your role. This will include working  alongside our well respected Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Gynaecology and Enhanced Recovery Nurse in Breast and Gynaecology.

Excellent communication skills, a friendly approachable nature and an ability to manage your own workload is required. Gynaecology experience is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided by our Clinical Practice Facilitator and Ward Team.
