At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.

We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

Are you looking for an exciting, challenging and rewarding nursing experience?

We are currently recruiting newly qualified and experienced band 5 & 6 nurses.

Whether you have Neonatal experience or are new to the specialty, we have a place for you.

Our neonatal services are embedded in a state of the art unit situated immediately opposite Warren Street Tube station. We are ideally located in central London to enable you to access good transport links both nationally and internationally, which makes us perfectly positioned for when you are off duty too, as we’re located right in the heart of London’s West End.

We are a busy level three neonatal unit with close links with the other UCLH specialist hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Currently we care for 21 intensive / high dependency care babies including neurological cots for infant cooling, cardiology, complex deliveries – including EXIT procedures and embarking on participating in fetal surgery. The Unit also has 12 Special care cots and 12 transitional care beds.

If you are dedicated to contributing to a team delivering excellence in neonatal care/family integrated care and serious about pursuing a rewarding career at UCLH, the neonatal unit is definitely the place for you. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated multidisciplinary team working within an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence for neonatal and maternity care.

We have a strong commitment to staff development and service improvement, have commissioned links with City and South Bank Universities and can offer an accelerated career pathway for suitable candidates. We have a team of passionate clinical practice educators who will support you within the unit to progress your career. There are extensive learning prospects with the opportunity to participate in research, and to partake in extremely complex deliveries to name but a few.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

The open day is a great opportunity for you to meet with some of our clinical team, learn more about the Trust, the job opportunities we have and how we can support your career. We would love to see you there!

If you be want to be assessed and interviewed at the open evening, please submit an application form clearly stating the band and the area you wish to apply for. You could leave on the day with a job offer!
