At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.

We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

Applications are invited for 3 Clinical Fellow posts in Neurointensive Care. These posts would be ideally suited to anyone with an interest in neuroanaesthesia, neurosurgery or intensive care medicine and would be suitable for trainees from senior SHO to post CCT. These posts will commence from February 2018 and May 2018 for a period of 6 months initially, renewable to one year depending on satisfactory performance and individual training needs.

The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery provides neurological and neurosurgical services on a local, regional, national and international basis. The Hospital has two Intensive Care Units and a High Dependency Unit providing one of the largest dedicated neurological critical care facilities in the UK. The post involves the management of those intensive care patients with primary neurosurgical conditions. There will be opportunities for audit and possibly clinical research and for some time to be allocated to neuroanaesthesia as appropriate.
