Nursing Associate Band 4

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) will be increasing surgical and medical services in 2020 as part of our vision is to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education and world-class research. Currently, we provide first-class acute and specialist services across eight sites and will be opening a new hospital in December 2020. We are seeking applicants to the post of Band 4 Nursing Associates for our surgical wards.

Working at UCLH is a genuine team working experience where staff are valued. Each ward has a dedicated Clinical Practice Facilitator to actively support further development of skills and knowledge. As one of the largest hospitals in the UK, we support nursing career pathways to Ward Sister, CNS, ANP and Nurse Consultants. It’s a great place to nurse.

We have opportunities for Nursing Associates to join our fantastic nursing team within GI surgery.

Working as part of the nursing team and the wider MDT, the nursing associate role will provide a unique nursing contribution to the care of the patients on the new orthopaedic and ENT elective surgical ward and the GI elective surgical ward. If you are a caring and compassionate nursing associate with excellent communication skills who will strive to achieve the UCLH values of safety, kindness, teamwork and improving we want to hear from you! In return, we will offer you support in practice from our team of nurse educators as well as excellent career development opportunities.

Applicants must be NMC registered nursing associates or nearing the completion of their 2-year training programme
