 Neurosurgery, National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. 

The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square, is the UK's largest dedicated neurological and neurosurgical hospital. It provides comprehensive services for the diagnosis, treatment and care of all conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, spinal column, peripheral nervous system and muscles.

Services include specialist neurosurgery; a complex spinal service; a brain tumour unit; a dedicated day care unit; a hyper-acute stroke unit (HASU); an acute brain injury unit, complex neurology, neuropsychiatry, a pioneering neuro-rehabilitation unit, the largest specialised neurosurgical intensive therapy unit and the only neuromedical intensive therapy unit in the country.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual who enjoys working in a busy, friendly department to take up the position of DBS MDT Coordinator. You will join the DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) multi-disciplinary team to support us in the delivery of a quality service and work collaboratively to provide a full administrative service to the Neurosurgical department. 

The DBS Team consists of Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, junior doctors and administrators, and other core members from other specialities.

We would expect the post holder to be the main point of contact for patients who have DBS, coordinate the DBS pathways, provide administrative support to the DBS MDT, and maintain all databases for DBS patients.

If you have effective communication skills, are able to meet deadlines, work well under pressure and are easily adaptable to last minute changes, this position is for you.
