University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a major Teaching Trust and Research centre with new state of the art facilities. We are looking for individuals who are motivated and looking for a challenge.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team in a challenging environment. You will need to manage your own workload and work effectively and efficiently. Excellent organisational skills and computer skills are essential in this role.
An 18 month secondment/ fixed term job opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist with a keen interest in Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) and medication safety. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the EPMA team to help manage the Trust’s EPMA systems and drive safety standards in relation to medications. The candidate will also work with the Electronic Health Record System (EHRS) Pharmacy team to facilitate transition to the Trust’s new system, EPIC. This opportunity will give scope to develop system management, organisational and managerial skills. The candidate will work across all sites and specialities at UCLH and be part of a unique team combining pharmacy, nursing, and IT.
