Staff Nurse - Ward T13 South

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time band 5 Staff Nurse to join the team on ward T13 South at University College Hospital.

Ward T13 South is part of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Division within UCLH NHS Foundation Trust. The ward has 20 beds and specialises in the treatment and care of patients with GI disorders such as Crohn’s disease and short bowel syndrome and are able to support patients requiring parenteral nutrition. The ward also admits patients with hepato pancreato biliary disease and hepatological disorders.

We work closely with our medical colleagues and the wider MDT in order to meet the needs of our patients and are committed to providing compassionate care in patient-centred environment.

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our friendly nursing team. You will be committed to providing safe, effective care to a diverse patient population. You will be a confident time manager with the ability to prioritise the clinical needs of acutely unwell patients.

We are committed to staff development and have a dedicated Clinical Practice Facilitator who will support you in developing your nursing skills. We also have links to the GI surgical wards within the division offering the opportunity to gain expertise in all areas of GI medicine.

The post involves a rotational shift pattern of long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
