At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.

We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition for innovation.
If you are committed to contributing to a team delivering excellence in maternity and neonatal care and have the desire to pursue a rewarding career, then UCLH maternity services is definitely the place for you. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated multidisciplinary team working within a centre of excellence for maternity service delivery.

We have a busy level three unit with close links with the other UCLH specialist hospitals such as Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our maternity unit cares for approximately 6,400 births per year and we have a co-located midwifery led birth centre delivering 1000 births per year. We look after a diverse population of which we offer an individualized service.

We are committed to the promotion of normality and the forefront of innovation, being one of the first London Trust training midwives to offer acupuncture in Labour. Our first class service is reflected in the positive feedback we receive, and also the many women outside our catchment area choosing to come and give birth here with us at UCLH.
We have a strong commitment to staff development and service improvement; have commissioned links with City, Southbank and Kings College Universities.
Situated in central London there is an easy commute to all major train stations, and excellent tube links. You’ll be perfectly positioned outside work too, as we’re located right in the heart of London’s West End.
