The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Staff Nurse.  This is an exciting opportunity in a pioneering hospital which is expanding and developing new areas in research, service development and education.

We are looking for a registered Nurse with demonstrable interest or experience in neurology, who has excellent communication skills that will be utilised when conveying complex and sensitive information. 

You must demonstrate nurse leadership skills; have outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead on promoting high quality care for all.  Demonstrate first-rate organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a busy and fast paced work environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to support, train, develop and educate others; work well autonomously and as a team member in a team.

You will be working to support the Departmental Sister/ Charge Nurse in managing the unit, and therefore have an opportunity to experience ward management.   We are looking for someone with excellent clinical acute care skills who can work alongside staff to transfer this knowledge and skill set.
