At UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) our success starts with you.

We want you to come to UCLH, and stay at UCLH; all of our staff have been involved in developing our values.

We believe that UCLH is a better place for patients and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

UCLH has two major strategic projects underway. On Grafton Way, we are building a facility which will be home to one of only two high energy NHS proton beam therapy centres, Europe’s largest centre for the treatment of blood disorders and a hyper modern surgery service.  Close by on Huntley Street we are developing the new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. Replacing the current hospitals on Grays’ Inn Road, this development will mean we can provide multidisciplinary care to our dental and ENT patients in a modern environment. Our Grafton Way facility is due to open in 2020, with Huntley Street opening in 2019.

NHS staff survey results from 2016, UCLH has been named one of the ten best performing non-specialist trusts against the following statement: “If a friend of relative needed treatment I would be happy with the standard of care provided by this organisation”.

University College London Hospitals NHS Trust is a dynamic and exciting place to work and we are currently looking for an experienced Administrative Manager to join our team in the Theatres & Anaesthetic Division.

Are you a forward thinking individual who can motivate and lead a team?  If so, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us.  Our focus is the patient first, last and always and the work will entail quality and service improvement with a particular emphasis on admin processes and development of our administrative team.

This post will focus on the delivery of a high quality service and ensure that robust processes are in place to monitor data quality and performance targets. Together with your team you will provide ongoing admin support for the Deputy Service Manager, Service Managers, Divisional Manager and Clinical Leads.

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated and proactive individual who is effective in managing time and workload whilst being a team player.

You should possess excellent planning and organisational skills and be confident in managing and developing admin and clerical staff. In addition, strong leadership qualities and a good track record of delivering results are essential. You should possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to demonstrate service delivery and HR management abilities.
