Rotational Physiotherapist, Band 5, UCLH Therapy Services

We have an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to join an innovative and vibrant therapy team which comprises of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated physiotherapist with excellent communication skills and an innovative and flexible approach.  You must be a team player with a broad range of student or Band 5 placements/experience. This role would provide you with an excellent opportunity to consolidate your knowledge and gain new clinical skills within a supportive, friendly environment.

The 6 month rotations include:

Critical Care

General Surgery

Thoracic Surgery

Orthopaedics

Oncology – including paediatric, adolescent and adults services

Elderly Care

Acute Medicine

HIV/Infection

Women’s Health

Musculoskeletal Outpatients

Elderly Rehabilitation

Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) 

Acquired Brain Injury Unit (ABIU)

National Rehab Unit (NRU)

Neuro-surgery

Neuro-Medicine

The Band 5 rotations are across University College Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, St Pancras Rehab Unit (CNWL) and Barnet (CLCH). In some areas there is an expectation that staff participate in 7-day services other areas participate in weekend and on-call working.

We have a strong commitment to staff development and service improvement and provide regular supervision and in-service training. We currently have both permanent and fixed-term vacancies. Please only submit an application if you have a degree result and have your HCPC registration pending or already have HCPC registration.
