ROLE PURPOSE
This role is to provide admin support to various teams across the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The neurology hospital sees a large number of outpatients and inpatients each year and runs a number of specialist clinics and rehabilitation programmes. Admin volunteers are required to support these teams in general admin tasks.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
The aim of this role is to support the clinical and admin staff with admin tasks. This will include activities such as using the computer and uploading documents, printing and distributing information leaflets to clinical areas, photocopying, faxing and also taking calls and messages in the office.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
