Workforce Information Analyst

We are looking to recruit a Workforce Information Analyst to join our Workforce Intelligence Team to a vacant Band 5 post.

The successful candidate will be joining the Workforce Intelligence team at an exciting time of change.  The new post holder will have a leading role in our programme of data quality improvement and Freedom of Information reporting. They will also be a key contact for providing workforce information in our board reports and responding to ad hoc requests across the Trust, which are also supported by other members in the team.

The post holder will be encouraged to develop and enhance their skills, which will include taking an active role in the development of the Trust’s data quality including how we describe our workforce to link with important projects such as the Trust’s electronic health record system and the online training system.

The successful candidate will already possess good I.T. skills and will be able to demonstrate their interest in analysis and information. They will possess strong communication skills and will be able to prioritise tasks under pressure. The new postholder will preferably have in depth knowledge of the occupation code manual, staff group and role definitions, and be familiar with creating and amending posts on ESR through the workstructures URP.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
